Travel Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city and preparing for your trekking adventure.
Attend a trekking briefing and obtain all necessary permits for your trek. Spend the day checking your gear and making last-minute purchases.
After breakfast, take a bus ride to Pokhara, from where you’ll have a short drive to the starting point of your hike to Ghandruk. The trek takes about 5-6 hours, leading you through picturesque villages and terraced fields.
Continue your trek and reach Chhomrong, a traditional Gurung village perched on the edge of a steep valley. The hiking time is about 5-6 hours as you walk through dense forests and along steep paths.
After breakfast, set out for Bamboo, a small village on the banks of the Modi Khola River. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours, leading you through lush forests and alongside rushing rivers.
Today, you will continue your trek to Deurali, another stop on the way to the base camp. The walking time is about 5-6 hours as you approach the Annapurna massif and the landscape becomes increasingly alpine.
Today, you will reach the spectacular Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by mighty mountains. The trek takes around 7-8 hours as you navigate rocky terrain and pass glacial lakes.
After exploring the base camp, begin your descent back to Bamboo. The hike will take approximately 6-7 hours as you enjoy the majestic Himalayan landscape on your way down.
Hike to Jhinu Danda and relax in the natural hot springs before embarking on the final section of your journey. The hiking time is about 4-5 hours as you walk through dense forests and charming villages.
Conclude your trek in Nayapul and take a bus back to Pokhara. The hiking time is about 5-6 hours as you walk through terraced fields and charming villages before taking the bus back to Pokhara.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city’s sights.
