Itinerary
Flight from Germany to Kathmandu.
Arrival in Kathmandu, welcome by your tour guide, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. The next 2 nights will be spent at Hotel Tibet (or similar).
In the morning, visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, the oldest and most significant Buddhist shrine, featuring the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, prayer wheels, monks, and fluttering prayer flags. In the afternoon, visit the main attractions, including the former royal city of Kathmandu with the Temple of the Living Goddess. Explore Durbar Square with its temples and palaces. Overnight stay at Hotel Tibet (or similar).
After breakfast, travel to Naikap and continue to a hilltop where a beautiful monastery is located, home to around 100 monks, offering stunning views of the Kathmandu valley and mountain range. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to observe a monastery ceremony. Learn interesting facts about the monastery’s history and the daily lives of the monks. In the evening, enjoy dinner with the monks. Overnight stay at the monastery.
After the morning ceremony, leave Kathmandu via Thankot Pass, enjoying views of the 8,000-meter Manaslu Himal and its neighboring peaks. Continue along the Trisuli River and Marsyangdi River to Gorkha, a small historical town located 140 km west of Kathmandu. The ancient royal city is at the center of Nepal and is one of the most popular tourist destinations. In the afternoon, visit the main attraction of the city, the old Gorkha Palace, which sits about 1,000 meters above sea level and was once the residence of kings. In the evening, arrive at your hotel and dinner. Overnight stay at Gorkha Garden Hotel (or similar).
After breakfast, travel for about 4 hours to Bandipur, a typical old village with stunning landscapes and excellent views of the Himalayas, including Mount Manaslu (8,163 m). After a lunch break, visit local houses and families in Bandipur, where the residents maintain a very traditional lifestyle and trade. Overnight stay at Durbar Himalaya Hotel (or similar).
Today, wake up early for a two-hour yoga session at the hotel. Enjoy your yoga practice while breathing in nature. After a leisurely breakfast, take a short hike to Ramkot, a three-hour walk west of Bandipur. It’s an easy hike through diverse landscapes. Ramkot is a typical Magar village with traditional round houses, remaining untouched by modern development and offering a glimpse into the rural lifestyle of Nepal.

Your journey takes you to Pokhara. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal, with views of the Himalayas. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful rice fields, glide across the water. On the way to the other side of the lake, pass a Hindu temple situated on a small island in the lake. Overnight stay at Crown Himalayas Hotel (or similar).
Today, rise early to go to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise over the mountains, offering fantastic views of Phewa Lake and the Himalayas. After breakfast, stop for photos at the David Waterfalls. Continue to a Hindu wedding temple. After the visit, Ayurveda full-body treatments will be offered. Overnight stay at Crown Himalayas Hotel (or similar).
The day is free for you to enjoy. A walk along the lake is very pleasant. Stroll through the colorful shops in the tourist district or enjoy the view of the lake from one of the cafes by the shore. In the evening, we will organize a cooking class for local dishes that we will prepare and eat together with a Nepali family. Overnight stay at Crown Himalayas Hotel (or similar).
Return journey along the river landscape back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Hotel Tibet (or similar).
Transfer to the airport and return flight to Germany.
